  11. alt.sys.amiga.thor was arriving rather nicely on my server, but nothing has
  12. shown up in the last few days :(  I suppose that will get worked out
  13. eventually...

  15. I posted a message about THOR's strange behavior in an out of memory situation,
  16. and had it happen again.  With about 200k total free RAM left, THOR gave me an
  17. out of memory error posting a message.  I was expecting an email, and decided to
  18. grab it, as the Get Mail hasn't messed up yet after an out of memory error.  But
  19. by mistake, I pushed Get News, and when I looked back at it there were over
  20. 10000! new articles, which were counting rapidly downward; 8 real articles
  21. eventually appeared.  It is a good thing that I'm not paying for my online time
  22. <G> :(

  24. Other than panicking and quiting whenever an out of memory error occurs -- even
  25. with lots (400k!) of free RAM left -- is there any other solution?

  27. Running THOR 2.22, new libraries as of 2 weeks ago, 68000/KS2.04/3 megs ram.
